Mission Statement

The Mission of The Friends of Music is:

To encourage and stimulate students of music from the Lehigh Valley, or who study in the Lehigh Valley, by giving them opportunities for public appearances, thus fostering growth and confidence;
To promote a mutually beneficial association among music teachers, music lovers, and music students; and
To promote the study and enjoyment of music.

The Outstanding Young Artist for 2009 is Adam Stoltz, piano. The Runner-Up Outstanding Young Artist for 2009 is Taylor Aretz, piano. The Promising Young Artist for 2009 is Brianne Morales, violin.
